hAnglar&stAnglar

I finished this card up today. Another hAnglar stamp. These are so cute. Someday I hope they sell them in the US. I colored her with my prisma's. I used a chipboard swirly up in the corner. Used my green dew drop to color the chipboard. Flowers out of my stash. I used my Fiskars border punch for the middle panel and my oval nesties. I think this is one of my favorite hAnglar stamps, as least for today!
Hope your having a great week!

Edwin

I have a hard time with Edwin cards. But this turned out okay, its kind of plain for me, but one minute I like it the next I don't. This is traveling Edwin I got from a good friend of mine, across the pond! I colored him and the suitcase with my pirsma's and colored the swirls with my SU ink. It was one swirl but I cut it in half! Corners punched out with my SU punch and the scalloped border....SU's new border punch.

Lavenders-hAnglar&stAnglar

I love lavender, not as much as red! I found this great paper at Michaels on clearance about 3 months ago. I just fell in love with how soft it looked. I colored my hAnglarstAnglar image with copics. I used my SU punch for corners and then 1/4 the corners. I stitched on the card, My nestis for the ovals. This is ribbon from the $ bin at JoAnne Fabric. This was a fun card to play with. I just kept adding layers.
Hope everyone has a great weekend, thanks for stopping by!

Old and New Christmas Card

I don't even know where to start with this card! The tree image I've had forever and is by Northwoods Rubber stamps. Its a great stamp and its big! I suppose about 5-6 years ago I stamped the image on glossy cs and embossed it with a copper color. I sponged the sky, I'm guessing all this by looking at it! In my drawer it went. Today I was upstairs in my craft room looking for something and ran across and old cardboard frame I was saving, for what?? LOL It was starting to yellow! AHHH, bright idea, now where is that tree scene image I have? So after a lot of searching, found it. Another bright idea, i'm going to emboss it with that pretty light blue embossing powder. WRONG! Either the card board was to old, to thick or something, it wouldn't emboss. As long as I have been stamping, I do not own a heat gun! I use, yes, the stove! Well trying to emboss this cardboard almost started it on fire, it was turning a nice parchment brown. Hubby was not happy with me, since the whole house started to smell like burning cardboard. Went back over to the cupboard and brushed off the embossing color. Went and got my Kaleidacolor, Blue Breeze and stamped TAC Holly Swirls and stamped those out. Then cardboard still looked pretty brown underneath, I sponged the frame with my Kaleidacolors. Used my sparkly Gelly Roll pen and went over the swirls a few times so they would show up as sparkly, which you can't catch in the picture. I also took my Diamond Sticklers and dotted up the trees to look like fresh fallen snow. I used an image by Whiff of Joy that was sent to me from a good friend. I colored her and the reindeer, then used my turqouis stickles and put on the fur. Way to much glitter, so wiped that off. Used an OLD old ink pad from Hero Arts called The Inkers. Its a white fluffy looking ink. Still works. Then I just put it all together and this is how it turned out. Not bad for taking 6 years to put together!

Another Christmas Card

This is a image I colored up about a week ago and just put it together very fast!
With the image being so large and busy, i didn't want to add a lot of embellies to it. I embossed Merry Christmas in gold on the side of the card, added ribbon to the corners of the image. The image is from The Stamping Place, called, Holiday Door. I bought this image about two years ago on my way up to see my daughter in college. This is the first time I have colored it! I used my Prisma's to color the image. Its a simple card with alot of coloring! LOL

The Man Card

This is for my hubby's birthday. I think making a MAN CARD has got to be one of the hardest things to do. I wanted to put pretty ribbon on it, and flowers! He likes flowers, but only in the yard! I had Edwin playing the guitar, my hubby plays guitar, and the cuttlebug music embossing folder and I went from there. My goodies are from Loreen at Wish on a Scrap. The button are from my coat! LOL On the inside I made another embossed layer and made a pocket with my Enveloper! Have you ever used one? OMGOSH they are fantastic and so much fun! Loreen sent me one as a gift! I love playing with it and it make the greatest envies! Thank you Loreen!!! What a wonderful gift! I also made an envelope to go with the card.
I colored Edwin with my Prismas.

Sympathy Card

I made my first sympathy card today. The stamp is by Paper Inspirations. I used my cuttlebug border embossing folder for the side of the card. On the inside, I generated a personal message with my graphics program.

Reindeer Card aka Christmas Card

This is a card I've been working on for almost 2 weeks. I had it all finished except for putting it together, just wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. I wanted it plain as I could. I think it turned out very pretty and simple. I can't remember where the stamp is from, its made from black rubber. I bought it about 2 years ago.

October Kit is AWESOME!

Here is another project that took me days to do! Hopefully soon I will be back on track! Everything on this card except for my ribbon (stash) is from the October kit, and big embellie on envie is from the Sept. kit from Wish on a Scrap The paper is gorgeous! I colored up a HanglarAnglar stamp that a friend sent to me. I've never made an envelope for any of my cards! This time I did, using my Enveloper Scoring board! Easy peasy as they say! This is a box envelope, about 1/8 of an inch thick to put a nice fat embellished card into it! Decorated it up a little, and walla! Done! Of course this can't go through the mail, but what a fun way to actually call it done!

Engagement Book

This is for my daughter and fiance'. I've worked on this for about 3 days, very under the weather here! I followed a tutorial for the box and lid at SCS. Nice little box that goes together very fast. The inside book with pictures is from Scrapbook Lounge. Its oragami folding and is easier than I had thought it to be! I think the little accordian booklet turned out great. I then took the pics from m's proposal and used my graphic program to resize them and print them off. Tucked each one into a "pocket". It folded up so nice! Then I just used simple embellishments to wrap it up.
Thanks for looking!!
