TooTweet...

This is Too Tweet by Pink Petticoat. I just love this little Tweet! I colored her with my Jelly Roll Stardust pens. I added a bling flower to the flower in her mouth! The umbrella and the sentiment are from MFT. Used my CB to emboss the background and some rikrac. I really like the pink and blue combo on this card. Wasn't to sure how it was going to turn out, but I like the end result! Can't say the sentiment is how I feel! We've had rain for 4 days now! So instead of coming this way, I wish it would go away!
Well the weekend is almost over. Another work week ahead. They seem to go awful fast!

Penelope...

This is Penelope by StampingBella. I recieved this in "Anything but a Bella" swap we had a while back. I think she is so cute! I used CS that I had in my stash pile and same with the DP. Colored her with my SU colored pencils and my water pen. Added a little bling to her hair. Cut out my ovals with my nesites, that I just got in the mail and LOVE THEM!! Enjoy is a Studio G stamp and baby flower is by Savvy Stamp.
I love the pink and orange together and my DP worked out great with my color scheme!
Thanks for stopping by, hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

Glamour Puss...

I made this card this afternoon for a layout challenge at Pink Cat Studio yahoo group. I used the numbers CB embossing folder on the panels of the card. I thought with her glasses this made her look even more smart! This kitty is so darn cute! You could really glam her up!

Attitude!!

This is a cute stamp set by BossKuts called Buggies. I love this little set and bought it thinking of my grandkids! You know how little girls scream when they see a bug! This is true confessions of a impulse buyer! A couple of months ago I went to our local, one and only, scrap store. No stamping supplies but once in awhile you can find some cool tools! Anyway...I bought the cutterpede cutters, I bought 3 of them! Came home and did everything in my power to make them work, couldn't figure it out. So last night I stopped in there again, and read the BACK DIRECTIONS! and found out-oh you need a cutterpede cutter board! Well, I bought one! Then I came home and couldn't figure how to attach the cutter to the board, searched the net and found a video on the cutterpede at EKSUCCESS. Figured it out, finally, I'm really not this dense most of the time! So this is the card I threw together this morning playing around with it. I think it turned out cute! I love the scalloped edges you see everyone using. So maybe now, with some more practice with it, I can have some nice scalloped edges for my cards!

Another Red/Purple Challenge...

This is what I made waiting for Glamour Puss to dry. This is another set by PinkCatStudio, called Paisley. I love this set and have all kinds of idea's to use for it. I cut away about 1/2 inch on the side and added the small paisley's. Pretty simple card with no coloring. Ink is by SU.
I think the paisley is taking me back to my jr. high school days! I had a real cool blue and off white paisley shirt! Should of kept some of those cloths, I would be in fashion today! At least I'm at the time in my life that there is actually a name for my "youth", and its called retro! Kinda groovy to have a time period, don't ya think? LOL

Red/Purple Challenge

This is Glamour Puss by Pink Cat Studio. We had a challenge over at PinkCatStudio using Red/Purple! What a hoot she was to play with! She is so glizted up that I really doubt I could of added anything more to this card! I used my water color crayons to color her. I used my glaze/glitter/jelly roll pens to add highlights. I used stickles, love those things! and rhinestones to really add the bling to her. I goofed on her hat ribbon and took a couple of prima flowers and added some stickles to them and hid the booboo! She even has a pink rhinestone nose! It took me forever to add the rhinestones, they always end up, upside down and as tiny as some are, you have to figure out a way to flip those babies over. I used my peircing tool, almost like a magnet on the end of it. I had this sparkly wide wire ribbon from Christmas and covered the back cs with and after attaching it with my double sided tape, took out the wire. I cut a small strip out of the middle of the ribbon to make the bow. She was fun to play with and see just how much bling I could actually get on this kitty! She should be the poster cat for "Red Hat Cats"!! LOL
Thanks for looking! Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!

Paisley and Denim...

This card was thrown together fast and I think it shows! I like busy and this one is so simple. I used my Cuttlebug paisley embossing folder. I used a brayer with white ink on the inside flat side. I put my dark blue cardstock in and this is the background I got. I love the background. Looks like it could be a designer paper! The stamp is by Rubbernecker and used water color pencils with my aqua brush. The ribbon is from JoAnn's in the $ bin. Added 3 buttons and called it done. I still keep looking at it, wondering if I should add more, but I think I'm going to just leave it as is. Maybe I should do more simple and not worry about all the bling I always want to add. You gotta love bling!
Hope everyone is having a great week! Its FRIDAY!! WOOOOHOOOO!

Note Card Box....

I worked on this all weekend and finally finished it last night. I'm so happy with the way it turned out. I followed a tut from No Time To Stamp Blog, using my Scor-Pal. The dusty lavender CS is by MM and the off white cs is by SU. I embossed the panels with my CB using the swiss dots, which is my all time favorite folder!! I also embossed the flap of the envie with swiss dots. Which I think turned out just great! The circle and scalloped circle are my SU punches and I used a little flower from a SU set called "Time Well Spent". My ribbon is from JoAnn's $1 bin and I did each card just alittle different with ribbon. Just to add a tad bit of variety! My envies are about 1/4 inch to big for the note card box, but I'll just tie a ribbon around those. This was easy to do, and I plan on making more of these for Christmas gifts for my SIL's. I have 4!! We always make homemade gifts to give each other, we all love crafts, and whats fun about that? We all do something different! My one SIL makes soaps and it smells so good! Other one does a lot of beading! Twilling and painting! So we have quit the assortment of gifts we recieve! This Note card box, I can't tell you who it goes to just yet! Its a secret!
Thanks for looking! And make sure you try this! But you'll need your Scor-Pal!! ;)

Old Card I made

I think this is one of my favorite cards I've made. I love the black and white. I used a SU stamp for the flowers and embossed it. Card stock I had and a few black brads. I cut the flowers and layered them. I think Black and White have to be my favorites to work on. I think they have a classy look!

Bananna Split Anyone?

I started this two weeks ago and have been so busy never got around to finishing it. The stamp is by Pink Cat Studio, one of my favorite stamps. I used liquid applique on the whip cream and put brown beads on the whip cream to look like walnuts! I found my paper in my stash and thought the colors were perfect for it. It was fun to play with! We have bananna splits at home quit a bit! Hubby loves them! Well so do I!
Hope everyone is having a great week!

Watercolor Crayons

I haven't had time to play so this morning I decided it was time! I used my Lily and Tweet stamp from Pink Cat Studio and colored Lily and Tweet with my new SU watercolor crayons which I have decided I love! I love how the color is so much more vibrant than the pencils. I only bought the bold brights, not knowing if I was going to like them or not. Time to order the rest! I used my oblong nestibilities on the edge and framed the imaage also with my nestie. CS is by MM and flowers by Prima.
Thanks for stopping by and hope everyone is having a great week.
