All Dressed Up

I love digi images! I like it cuz you can have it right now, while your waiting maybe for the letter carrier? I found this cute image at SquiggleFly. Talk about fun to color! I made this one into a Valentine card. I used my Prisma's and googone to color her. The flower in her hat, pearls and earrings I colored with my Glaze pens. The "frame" is the pocket border from a stamp I got at a rummage sale! I figured out who those are by also, Darcy's. The whole lot I bought were from Darcy's and they are sooo cute. They are old! I colored the pocket lace with my Prisma's and cut out all FOUR of them! Framed the image. I used another old stamp for the background, by Impress.
I used my nifty swirl punch that was a gift from Loreen at Wish on a Scrap, I so love that punch! I couldn't find any cs that would match my pinks so I punched out the swirls on white cs and colored them. I have these great pink "diamonds" from Me and My Big Idea's.
She is really pink, but I love her! Everytime I make something pink, I think of Kim and Loreen. They're my pink girls!

Tilda

A couple of weeks ago, I challenged the Magnolia-licious group to make a Valentine Card, using a NON-Valentine image. I made a couple of them, only because I have no Valentine Tilda's. Its amazing what you can do with a stmap and make it into what you want. Imagination! This is Windy Tild, I think that's what she is called. Anyway, I just covered up the autumn leaves with hearts, added a few extra. I used my EKSuccess heart punch for the little hearts, and ran some Stickles over them to glitter. Everything else was in my stash, and as usual, used my prisma's and googone! Gotta love that googone! LOL
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Valentine.....

I used my Sweet Love set by Papertrey Ink. I love the simplicity of this set. Basically it's the same card except for different DP I used and changing ink colors around. I used my nesties on the ovals. Ran ribbon through a round punch hole and voila, simple as they come, but I just love these.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

PuppyCakes Bag

I bought these little bags at the $ store awhile back and have only used two of them. We have a neighbor that is less fortunate than most of us, but he has his faithful companion Star. Stars birthday is coming up and I thought maybe she deserved a present. This is Puppy Cakes by Victoria Case Art Designs, one of her great digi images. I colored Star up with my prisma's and googone, dp was in my stash. I used my SP to scor my edges and double sided tape to adhere to the bag. I have a sizzix die of puppy feet that I didn't even remember I had. Two little rhinestone brads at the base of the handle, and Star has her own little bag!
What is going in the bag?? A little doggie magnet, a coupon for $ off a box of treats and of course a few treats for right now. She'll be happy!

Tilda and Edwin

I posted a challenge on the mags group to make a Valentine, using a NON-Valentine Mag image. This is what I came up with. This was fun. These are two of my favorite stamps and two of the first ones I bought. I cut my heart out on my cricut and used my edging scissors to cut the heart in 1/2. Then I used DMC and sewed the heart back together. I put Tilda and Edwin sitting on bandaides. Used my EKSuccess corner punch for the two corners. Big eyelets for the two corners running ribbon through each eyelet. The card still looked blah to me, so I added the little white dots. Tilda and Edwin were colored with my Prisma's and googone. Cardstock is from my stash of pieces.

Cross stitch Tilda

I colored this little cutie a long time ago and had it in my stash of colored images. I finally put it together. Very simple card. The sentiment is from StudioG. I used one of my other corner punches from EKSucces that I got from Loreen at Wish on a Scrap. These punches are so fun! Colored with my Prisma's and googone and used my nesties on the cutout.

Approaching Wedding

I don't know how many of you remember, but I was doing STD's for my daughters upcoming wedding. Well I'm happy to say, they are in the mail! We have a little less than 6 months before her big day! I've been cutting paper for the last two days, getting the Wedding Invites ready to put together. She wanted them very simple. When I made the STD's I made several different layouts for her to see. STD's and Invites. She picked the one she wants and it was a go. Also I am making RSVP's to put on the inside. I'm waiting on some Vellum for the insert, I will print off the Union on the vellum. I have cut, scored, embossed, punched and nestie'd!
Here are the STD's that are in the mail, and one of the 3 Invites that are completely finished!
Hope everyone is having a great week.

I was playing with my Hanglars and colored this image a couple of days ago. I had that great dp out and continued to make this one! This is so simple for me. I kept looking at it, laying different bling on it, and decided I really liked it better much more plain.
Have a great weekend!

LuvBirds

Another fun image by Victoria Case Art Design.
This is another digi image that I feel in love with! I colored the image with my prisma's. I made it into a pocket card. Used my SU scalloped border punch, stitched around the pocket. I had some white tags in my stash and covered them with dp, tied the ribbon added a flower with brad to each tag. The sayings on the tags, that you can't see are from a set from Uptown Rubber Stamps, Boyds Bears that I have had for years! One saying is "Love Conquers All" and the other "Love 50c" and "Kisses 5c".
The heart in the background with the bow is a Hanglar. I think these little Luv Birds are just toooo cute! I'm not sure who the paper is by, but I dug deep and found it and LOVE IT! Should of bought more!
Thanks for stopping by!
