M's Birthday Card

My daughters 26th birthday is coming up in January. So I thought I would get ahead just a bit and work on a card for her. A while back I bought a stamp by Suzy Toronto. I absolutely LOVE her stamps! This stamp is called, My Daughter my Friend. The sentiment is also by Suzy Toronto. I colored the image with my Prisma's. All the cs is from my stash. I wanted a little distressed look to the card, besides the gray I added to my hair!! LOL I use to do a lot of cross stich and have totes and totes filled with specialty floss. I dug some of it out and created my own "ribbon". It was a lot of work! But I was happy the way it turned out. The card is huge, but my daughter is so worth it! She loves handmade cards!
Thank you for stopping by, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Memories

I made this card over the last two days! With the Holidays upon us, I can only get bits and pieces of anything done! I ordered a new punch from Loreen at Wish on a Scrap. Its a corner punch with a guard that can be taken off, by EKSuccess. I punched the circle with the corner punch and laid that on top of a cirlce. I used my scalloped square nesties for the back of the cirlce. I had these great chipboard designs that I picked up at the $ store, used the clock in the middle and the Memory below. I used my SU close to cocoa for the edge. Ribbon came from....JoAnn's.
I love the way the card turned out, it was hard not to do any stamping on it.
Thanks for looking.
May you all have a wonderful and safe Christmas.

Tilda with Flower Basket

Another Tilda, this time with a bright green coat. I colored her with copics. The DP is by TAC, Ribbon is from my stash and flowers are Prima's. I added stickles to her coat and hood and to the tips of the flowers. She was fun card to put together. I wish the stickles showed up better, they really look nice in RL!

Just Dream

Such a great stamp by TAC called Just Dream. Not much I can say about this card, everything came from my bits and pieces stash. I used Prisma's to color the angel and my glitter pen to add sparkle to her wings. I love her wings! They remind me of John Travolta's wings in "Michael". He had the greatest wings!

Santa

Going for EASY! This Santa I colored last week. I was messing around with my resist ink pad, tried it on photo paper, did not work. Had a little left over so thought I would try stamping on it with my Memento Ink. Worked great. Colored him with my Tombow markers and the photo paper was wonderful to color on I used my snowflake CB folder, silver photo corners by Fiskars, and the ribbon is from Mikes.
Thanks for stopping by.

Stylash Tilda

I colored both of these over a month ago and had no idea what I wanted to do with either of them. When I colored them I had no idea that they would end up together! Staylish Tilda is from Wish on a Scrap. The house is from Whipper Snapper and is a Halloween stamp! I colored it to make it look like Chrismtas and it worked! I cut the Merry Christmas from a Sizzix die. The ricrak is from JoAnn Fabric. The paper I used, which you can hardly see, and its wonderful!! is by Pebbles Inc. I colored my images with my Prisma's and googone!
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Ornament Box

Our challenge at Scor-PalPals was to do one of the tutorials off the new
Christmas 2008 Magazine from the Scor-Pal website.
This was a little putzy but the end result is awesome! I take horrible pics so it looks so much better IRL! The DP is Figgy Pudding by BasicGrey. Gorgeous paper!
The glitter is jelly glitter by Gelatin Stamps. Great to work with! I just painted glue on the tips of my flowers and sprinkled glitter, swooshed it around and dumped it on paper to add it back in my jar. Ribbon is CTMH and I used my nesties on the window. This would be a great gift for the person that has everything!

Backpack

I made this for my grandson to give to his teacher for Christmas. It can be filled with candy? tylenol? LOL I leave that to my daughter. It was fun to make and pretty easy using my Scor-Pal and Scor-Mat. I used all cs from my stash bins. Flowers are Prima's. I put the big eyelets in and this is the first time I wish i would of bought the Big Bite! LOL I had to set the one row of eyelets by hand. I followed the tutorial from Inking Addict. She always has such wonderful tutorials. Check out her blog!

Santa

This stamp is soooo old! About 5+ years ago, hubby and I went on a Rummage sale run over by the Mississippi. Miles and miles of sales! I had to much fun! One place we stopped at had stamps, used, poorly taken care of and i bought the whole lot. Mostly Chrismtas stamps. Came home, cleaned them all up and put them away! So yesterday I dug them out. This stamp is by Penny Black and of course being Santa, I love it! Colored him with copics and the verse is one I've had in my stash, no idea who it is by, but all the same, fits the Santa image perfect. I'm in a simple mode, maybe because I am so far behind in my Christmas cards and we are down to the wire now. Thanks for looking!

ClickClickClick

Another simple card! I'm beginning to like the simpe! It has to do with the whites, reds and greens! Nothing prettier than Christmas colors. I colored this image the other day with the few copics I have. This image was another one of those gifts and have no idea from who, or the name of the stamp, but THANK YOU! Love these Images! I used my Fiskar border punch around the image. I added my red ribbon just because it needed "something". LOL not really, but I feel incomplete if I don't add something!

3 Reindeers!

I colored these cuties up a couple of days ago and just didn't know what I wanted to do with them. I wanted it simple, but eye catching and sometimes the simple things are the hardest. The image is by Inkadinkadoo. I used basic white CS and ribbon was in my stash, another one that came from Mikes. The bottom border is punched out using the new Fiskars snowflake border punch. The "rope" is a blending filament from Krenick. This was such a fun card to do, but way to much measuring!

Tilda & Edwin Skating

The more I color this Tilda and Edwin, the more I like it. I just think they are so cute. I colored this last night watching a Christmas movie. In fact, I was so involved in Christmas movies I colored a few images. The darling Christmas tree was an image sent to me, for the life of me I can't remember who that generous person was nor who makes the stamp, but I LOVE IT! How fun to color that tree. I really thought it was going to take me forever, but went fairly quickly. Everything on this card was pulled out of my bits and pieces tote, little of this, and a little of that in there. Pink Tilda Magnolia-licious Challenge

I made this for the Magnolia-icious DT's layout challenge. I thought I would do this in pink! I've done the usual Christmas colors and the blue and silver, so tried the pink with a hint of green. My DS is by BoBunny, ribbon of course the stash of all ribbon stash's! I used my CB snowflake folder on the round background, colored the snowflakes with my SU ink pad. I cut the tree out of my Sizzix die cut. I had these great snowflakes in white, and touched them up with some pink ink. Tilda is colored with my Prisma's. I love the colors! Tilda looks good in pink!

Magnolia Layout Challenge

Okay then I finally did my layout challenge! Of course I wait till the last minute for everything, its due tomorrow! LOL
This is Tilda with hood and I love her too! Not many I don't love! I used all old ds I had in my scrap drawer, My flowers are Prima's and snowflakes are from a punch, I dabbed stickles on the for some sparkle. I don't know if you can see it, but on the green behind Tilda, I used my CB folder and used one of the new folders with the winter scene. I then lightly went over the image with white ink and a cotton swab. Ribbon is really old! When I get to Michaels around Christmas, I stock up on all their Christmas ribbon! As usual, Tilda is colored with Prisma's.
Thanks again for stopping by!

Tilda

My Mojo is coming back slowly! Of course having the Holidays upon us there are so many other things to do!
We have a layout challenge going on at Magnolia-licious and I started this card out with that in mind. But before you knew it, I was lost in doing it different! I love this Tilda and her Holiday outfit. All paper is from my stash, and very old! I bought that great pointsettia last year when we were up to our cabin and they LSS was having a Christmas clearance sale. The verse is from...I have no idea! I have a few Christmas verses like that and can't remember where I bought them. I'm just glad I have them! Tilda is colored up..with nothing else but my Prisma's!

Skating Edwin & Tilda

Another favorite Edwin & Tilda. I got this stamp from Loreen at Wish on a Scrap. I colored it up last night using my Prisma's and googone. Then this morning thought I would put it together. This isn't how I had it pictured in my head, but all the same, I am happy the way it turned out. I used my Fiskars snowflake border punch on the side and ran the blue paper down the inside of the card. I used my nestie to cut out the oval and my copic pen to make the blue swish marks, going over them with my glitter gel pen. The trees are punched out from me EKSuccess punch. Snowflakes are brads I bought a couple of years ago and think I've used 2 of them before. Ribbon and paper is from my stash! Thanks for stopping by and hope everyone has a great weekend.

On a ROLL!

Ahhh, I love this Tilda! She is fun to color. Used my Prisma's and googone on her. I had this great blue sparkly ds and finally got to use it. This is like a gate fold card but there is an overlap. I started out with it the opposite way at 6x11, then decided I didn't like it, seemed to big and awkward, so then took the width down to 5.5 and liked it better, but still wasn't right so i flipped it around and then I liked it! Used my snowflake cb folder for the white oval, both cut from my nesties. I had this great white ribbon, this huge roll of it and never used it before. So liking the white and just that little shimmer it has, went with that, even though it has roses on it! Snowflakes were cut out with my punch and glittered up just a little to add some sparkle. I like the card, the ribbon is a little to stiff to make a nice bow.

and the MOJO is BACK!

Well after recieving 6 new mags yesterday in the mail from Loreen the ole MOJO returned! So last night, the dining room table became a mess once again.
The base of the card is from SCS and is called a Double pocket card. I made this a while back. Worked perfect for what I wanted. Tilda with Dalecarlia Coat, I love this stamp! Colored with my Prisma's and googone. Nesties used for rectangles, DP is from TAC, Penelope and Willoughby,I love that paper! Ribbon is stash. I used a snowflake punch for the snowflakes and colored them with my dewdrops, just a touch of stickles and a pale green rhinestone in the middle! The little tree is also a punch. Winter Wishes is Fiskars "Tis the Season" acrylic stamp set. The card has two pockets but I only used one. The little envie is done on my enveloper, a wonderful gift from Loreen! Thanks Loreen!!! I love that tool! Making envies are FUN! I tied it with ribbon! I used my scor mat from Scor-Pals and that is also a great tool! all those angles are a cinch!

hAnglar&stAnglar

I finished this card up today. Another hAnglar stamp. These are so cute. Someday I hope they sell them in the US. I colored her with my prisma's. I used a chipboard swirly up in the corner. Used my green dew drop to color the chipboard. Flowers out of my stash. I used my Fiskars border punch for the middle panel and my oval nesties. I think this is one of my favorite hAnglar stamps, as least for today!
Hope your having a great week!

Edwin

I have a hard time with Edwin cards. But this turned out okay, its kind of plain for me, but one minute I like it the next I don't. This is traveling Edwin I got from a good friend of mine, across the pond! I colored him and the suitcase with my pirsma's and colored the swirls with my SU ink. It was one swirl but I cut it in half! Corners punched out with my SU punch and the scalloped border....SU's new border punch.

Lavenders-hAnglar&stAnglar

I love lavender, not as much as red! I found this great paper at Michaels on clearance about 3 months ago. I just fell in love with how soft it looked. I colored my hAnglarstAnglar image with copics. I used my SU punch for corners and then 1/4 the corners. I stitched on the card, My nestis for the ovals. This is ribbon from the $ bin at JoAnne Fabric. This was a fun card to play with. I just kept adding layers.
Hope everyone has a great weekend, thanks for stopping by!

Old and New Christmas Card

I don't even know where to start with this card! The tree image I've had forever and is by Northwoods Rubber stamps. Its a great stamp and its big! I suppose about 5-6 years ago I stamped the image on glossy cs and embossed it with a copper color. I sponged the sky, I'm guessing all this by looking at it! In my drawer it went. Today I was upstairs in my craft room looking for something and ran across and old cardboard frame I was saving, for what?? LOL It was starting to yellow! AHHH, bright idea, now where is that tree scene image I have? So after a lot of searching, found it. Another bright idea, i'm going to emboss it with that pretty light blue embossing powder. WRONG! Either the card board was to old, to thick or something, it wouldn't emboss. As long as I have been stamping, I do not own a heat gun! I use, yes, the stove! Well trying to emboss this cardboard almost started it on fire, it was turning a nice parchment brown. Hubby was not happy with me, since the whole house started to smell like burning cardboard. Went back over to the cupboard and brushed off the embossing color. Went and got my Kaleidacolor, Blue Breeze and stamped TAC Holly Swirls and stamped those out. Then cardboard still looked pretty brown underneath, I sponged the frame with my Kaleidacolors. Used my sparkly Gelly Roll pen and went over the swirls a few times so they would show up as sparkly, which you can't catch in the picture. I also took my Diamond Sticklers and dotted up the trees to look like fresh fallen snow. I used an image by Whiff of Joy that was sent to me from a good friend. I colored her and the reindeer, then used my turqouis stickles and put on the fur. Way to much glitter, so wiped that off. Used an OLD old ink pad from Hero Arts called The Inkers. Its a white fluffy looking ink. Still works. Then I just put it all together and this is how it turned out. Not bad for taking 6 years to put together!

Another Christmas Card

This is a image I colored up about a week ago and just put it together very fast!
With the image being so large and busy, i didn't want to add a lot of embellies to it. I embossed Merry Christmas in gold on the side of the card, added ribbon to the corners of the image. The image is from The Stamping Place, called, Holiday Door. I bought this image about two years ago on my way up to see my daughter in college. This is the first time I have colored it! I used my Prisma's to color the image. Its a simple card with alot of coloring! LOL

The Man Card

This is for my hubby's birthday. I think making a MAN CARD has got to be one of the hardest things to do. I wanted to put pretty ribbon on it, and flowers! He likes flowers, but only in the yard! I had Edwin playing the guitar, my hubby plays guitar, and the cuttlebug music embossing folder and I went from there. My goodies are from Loreen at Wish on a Scrap. The button are from my coat! LOL On the inside I made another embossed layer and made a pocket with my Enveloper! Have you ever used one? OMGOSH they are fantastic and so much fun! Loreen sent me one as a gift! I love playing with it and it make the greatest envies! Thank you Loreen!!! What a wonderful gift! I also made an envelope to go with the card.
I colored Edwin with my Prismas.

October Kit is AWESOME!

Here is another project that took me days to do! Hopefully soon I will be back on track! Everything on this card except for my ribbon (stash) is from the October kit, and big embellie on envie is from the Sept. kit from Wish on a Scrap The paper is gorgeous! I colored up a HanglarAnglar stamp that a friend sent to me. I've never made an envelope for any of my cards! This time I did, using my Enveloper Scoring board! Easy peasy as they say! This is a box envelope, about 1/8 of an inch thick to put a nice fat embellished card into it! Decorated it up a little, and walla! Done! Of course this can't go through the mail, but what a fun way to actually call it done!

Engagement Book

This is for my daughter and fiance'. I've worked on this for about 3 days, very under the weather here! I followed a tutorial for the box and lid at SCS. Nice little box that goes together very fast. The inside book with pictures is from Scrapbook Lounge. Its oragami folding and is easier than I had thought it to be! I think the little accordian booklet turned out great. I then took the pics from m's proposal and used my graphic program to resize them and print them off. Tucked each one into a "pocket". It folded up so nice! Then I just used simple embellishments to wrap it up.

Coaster Frame

This is my coaster frame I made to hold my granddaughters first birthday picture.
She was a gooey mess! I used everything from my October kit from Wish on a Scrap. Loreen put together such an awesome kit and the colors are gorgeous! Reese's colors for her 1st birthday were pink and brown. This paper fit the colors perfect. I used two coasters and cut my cs 4x4. I rounded the ends and then used my exacto knife to round the corners more on the coasters. The scalloped frame part on the right side, I used my nesties for that. Worked okay, my coasters are very very thin, don't think this would work with a thick coaster. I ran it through my cuttlebut several times for the cut. Actaully I put 2 sheets of white cardstock under my C plate to make it a little tighter. Be careful, this is a good way to break that handle right off! When I turned the handle, I didn't use the turn KNOB, I held it close to the machine itself. I also used my square nestie for the center cut. Then just put it all together. The sentiment was generated on the puter the size to fit the tag. This was so much fun. A little out of my comfort zone altering something! But I did it!!
Thanks for stopping by and hope everyone has a great weekend.

Thickers and Stickers and Rhinestones, felt fushion rain dots and floral doodles! And a 5x7 Mini book kit! I love it! The Halloween mini book kit won't be done till after Halloween. This is going to be of my grandkids!! How fun!
I can't wait to start creating. Be sure you check out Wish on a Scrap Blog to see the great idea that the designers come up with! Also some great tutorials there!

Calendar Swap?

Okay, so I joined in on a Calendar Swap! So unlike me, hate being put "under pressure"!!! LOL So far its going really good, always does the first part, second part gets scarry! Other things get in the way! But...not this time. I'm working on these till done! And I have to say, they are fun! I didn't know if I was going to like making 4 of the same thing, but its not bad! I do one thing, 4x's! Then go to the next 4 things! These calendars are for Magnolia-icious Yahoo Group. Chris is in charge of the swaps and is doing a great job with it all. I have July, August and September for months. July I thought was very easy. Using Magnolia stamps, this is Bandaged Tilda. Isn't she to cute! This is my first calendar and only have a total of 11 to go!

Winds of Change

This was simple and fun. Not a lot of thought went into it, well I started with something else and ended with this. I used my cuttlebug and embossed with the swirls folder. Then I used my TH distressed inks and went over the swrils with a sponge dauber. The oval is from TAC and the Sentiment is also from TAC, Autumn Swrils.
Ribbon from Michaels. Most of the Holiday ribbon I like has wire in it, I just pull the wire out and have my ribbon! Don't let the ribbon with wire stop you from buying it! Awesome ribbons out there for the Holidays!!

Sledding Tilda

I love the winter Tilda. How cute can she be! And she almost looks warm!
I colored her with my Prisma's and added Stickles to the fur. I used my Silver Sakura Gelly roll pen for the snowflakes falling. The big snowflake is from Imaginations. I picked up the great ribbon at Michaels in the Christmas ribbon isle. Less than $!! The scalloped edge is made by my SU scalloped border punch.
Fast card and very girly!!
I just posted and checked it out on my blog, and the camera is working BAD! This card is much more colorful than the blah way it looks on here! LOL
I'll have to have my hubby teach me!

Let's Dance

This stamp is a long story!! There is a site out there called Dottie's World. They are computer DL's of stamps. And they are CUTE! I have been to that blog about 2x's a week to see if they have changed it to selling to the US. But nope, still just in the UK!! I have been stalking that site for tooooo long! So I am lucky to have a wonderful friend in London (love that word!! ;)), Katz who surprised me and bought this set for me! Of course I had to have this one, due to hubby in a band. Not that he looks like Elvis, but can't beat the music of the 50's and 60's! I was so excited!! While she was in Spain on Holiday, I told her I would get a card done! Well this is it! I had so much fun coloring this stamp!! Can't wait to try my other ones!

The Dark Card!

I found this card to be really dark. I find a lot of comfort cozy in the dark, more relaxing. So this card might be a little to dark. I had to take it outside to get a decent picture of it! This is my 15lb. card! LOL
The image of course is a Tilda sitting, check out those glasses! I colored her with my Prisma's and googone. All paper is by TAC called Willoughby. Love those colors and how they go together! I had those fancy "paperclips" from CTMH. They were a gift to me. I used my Coluzzle to cut out the oblong piece, ribbon-stash! Flowers Prima's. The little tag up in the corner is also from TAC and I took wire and attached it to the brads. SU punch to punch out the corners. For some reason it took me forever to put this card together. I knew what I wanted but I could never find it!

Bling Birthday!

Well here it is, the bling card. Her theme colors will be pink and brown so gramma made a card with pink and brown. The image is a Magnolia, Balloon Tilda. I end up cutting the balloon off and making my own version. The dc is by Doodlebug. I've had this paper for along time, knew I bought it for a reason! used my fiskars border punch on the middle scallop and SU corner punch for the corners. My nesties for the ovals and Prima's are the flowers. The "1" and the "balloon" I can't remember who they are by, but I do know they came in my August kit from Wish on a Scrap. Ribbon...stash! This card is a lot like the one I made for my other granddaughter on her 7th birthday, but yet, totally different. Well thats it!
Hope you enjoyed your stay here at IttyBittyInkSpots!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
